On our last episode we explored the economics and history of Christian filmmaking. Now we take a look at the heart of Christian films. They are often made fun of in our society, but they serve an important purpose: to share the gospel with the world. Our special guests are Rich Christiano (Time Changer, Unidentified, Play the Flute) and Wes and Amanda Llewellyn (The Moment After I & II).

With the success of a film like “I Can Only Imagine”, we may see a rise in the market for Christian films. But this is not a new art form. For every “I Can Only Imagine” there are dozens of other films that never see the light of day. Be praying for Christian filmmakers. It’s a tough, often thankless job. But it can be a real service to the church.
