Guest Intake Form

Thank you for agreeing to be on the Truce Podcast. This page is going to walk you through the process and give you insights into the show.

What is the Truce Podcast?

Truce is an award-winning history podcast about the Christian Church. Our goal is to explore how we got here and how we can do better.

Not every episode is directly about Christianity, and not all of our guests are Christians. Many of our episodes are designed to explain issues that impact Christianity and the world around us.

Step 3: Recording Tips

  • Record the interview in a quiet, echo-free room.
  • Use an external microphone rather than the one built-in to your computer. The microphone on a set of earbuds is better than the computer mic.
  • Relax and enjoy the process. Your enthusiasm for the subject will come through.
  • We usually record via Zencastr. Zencastr is a free, easy-to-use audio program that requires no downloads or installs on your end. I will send you a website link via email. Just open that, allow your web browser to access your microphone, and the interview will begin!
    • Please note that Zencastr does not work on cell phones, and works best with Google Chrome. Let me know if your cell phone is the only option and we will come up with an alternate plan.

Thanks for agreeing to be on the show! I’ll be in touch soon via email with links to the interview.
